Know Christ
Make Him known
Know each other
Children’s Ministry:
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
The children are a huge part of our ministry at St John’s Wesleyan. From infants all the way to high school there are activities and programs to train them how to live like Jesus in a modern world.
Our children’s director is Debbie Hawk
Youth Ministry:
There are plenty of activities to keep the youth busy. From summer camps, weekend retreats, concerts, movies, game nights, and many other activities to youth group, Sunday school, and other spiritually focused groups. God is working in the lives of our youth.
Our youth leaders are Josh & Lauren Hawk
Adult Ministries:
There are numerous adult and young adult active ministries. We have a range of groups from small coffee accountability groups to larger men’s and women’s groups. Start or join a group today.
Our adult ministries leader is Joshua Hawk
Missions:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirt.” Matthew 28:19
Missions is a big focus for us at St Johns Wesleyan. We regularly participate in short term mission trips going to Russia, Philippines, & Guatemala. Ask God if he would have you to join us next time.
Our missions coordinator is: Carlos Baca
Prayer Ministry:
“They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.” Acts 1:14
We have seen God do amazing signs and wonders because of this ministry. If you aren’t already, get involved in one way or another. The only way we are going to see lives changed is if we take seriously the need to pray.
Our prayer leader is JoAnne Domina
Food Bank:
Every Wednesday and Friday at 2pm we hand out bags of food. If you are in need please feel free to stop by.
Our food bank leader is Jim Darcy
Music Ministry:
What is worship? Why has worship been used to describe only music? Worship is so much more than that. Here at St Johns Wesleyan our focus is not just on the music, but on the heart. Michah 6:8 tells us that God is more interested in Justice, Mercy, and a Humble Walk than he is in how well we can play or sing our instrument. Worship is an attitude of the heart. Worship is a lifestyle.
Our music ministry leader is Joshua Hawk
